First Fruits of our Labor!

While watering the plants today I noticed the first tomatoes at the Gaynor Campus Garden.  There are a few tiny green tomatoes on the plants in bed 9.

Many of the tomato plants are flowering and many of the pepper plants have flower buds.  I pulled the last of the radishes and put stakes around the largest of the tomato plants.  Hopefully we will stake the rest of the tomatoes and the eggplants on Wednesday.

I also put a couple of stakes around the  blackberry bush.  The last raspberry bush is almost totally dead at this point but I didn't have the heart to pull it out.

Overall things are looking great, the wind last night blew quite a bit of trash around but otherwise it was a lovely day in the garden.
