Harvest Party Success

This past Wednesday we spent a lovely day in Gaynor Garden.  We harvested carrots, lettuce, cucumbers, sugar snap peas and scallions and created a delicious salad on the spot.  We were also able to accomplish a number of chores: build trellis for cucumbers (bed 12), block rat hole with stones, move potato planter to less vulnerable location, cut the grass, attach Welcome sign to fence, and sow arugula and mustard greens (beds 9 and 8, respectively).   A big thank you goes out to Nathan, Booters, Unique Cruz and Unique S., who made the party a success.
