Citizens Committee for NYC Grant

Sprout is thrilled to announce that our garden at the Gaynor Campus was selected as the recipient of the a 2012 Citizens Committee for NYC Grant!

The Gaynor Campus Garden project was selected from nearly 400 projects.  The grant will fund $3,000 worth of supplies for the garden.

We look forward to putting the grant to good use in the garden!  The next steps for the garden will be a planting day on Friday May 4th and a signage painting day to follow.  Sprout will be teaming up with Lyons Community School's ESL class to make multilingual signs to label the plants, describe plant care, and welcome the community to the garden.
